PE cable routing pipe: five methods of connection and installation

There are mainly the following connection and installation methods for PE threading pipe:

1. Heat fusion connection: this is the method of combining the two ends of the PE pipe connection by heating them together. In the heat fusion process, it is necessary to apply pressure to the PE pipe to increase the firmness of its connection. Specific operations include heat fusion butt connection, heat fusion socket connection and heat fusion saddle connection.

2. Electrofusion connection: This method uses special electrofusion fittings with embedded resistance wires to energize the connection parts of pipes or fittings in close contact with each other, heating the connection parts through the embedded resistance wires to make them melt together until the joints cool down. Electrofusion connection can be used to connect with different types of polyethylene pipes or socket fittings with different melt flow rates.

3. Socket flexible connection: This is a new type of connection developed with reference to the principle of socket flexible connection of cast iron pipe and polyvinyl chloride pipe (PVC U). It is in the polyethylene pipe end welding a reinforced polyethylene socket, and then the polyethylene pipe end inserted into the pipe socket, through the socket within the locking ring compression, sealing ring compression seal, to achieve the purpose of the connection.

4. Flange connection: mainly used for the connection of polyethylene pipes with metal pipes or valves, flow meters, pressure gauges and other ancillary equipment. By tightening the bolts and nuts, the flange connector and the flange piece are in close contact to achieve the purpose of connection.

5. Steel-plastic transition joint connection: Use steel-plastic transition joints prefabricated by cold pressing or other means to connect PE pipes and metal pipes.
